Is it acting out impulsively everywhere you go?
Is it breaking out into song and dance numbers in the middle of the street because somewhere close by is playing music on a speaker, and the musics there for others to hear, not just in your head, so it might make more sense to the people what you are singing and dancing to?

Or is it simply just living outside the routine of everyday life? Is it to do the unexpected things just to spice up a tired and overdone rhythm? Is it adding a sax solo to jazz things up? What things constitute being random vs being crazy and immature?
When Michelle and I danced in the streets of Disney World to 'My favorite Things' were we being immature or just random?
When Nate and I stopped in the middle of the road in the middle of the night to jump in a strangers leaf pile, where we being immature and crazy, or random?
I think, that it all doesn't matter. I think it's not important what it's classified as, as long as you're having fun with it. Like when I pretend to be a classical pianist while I type, and lift my hands all passionate after words. I do it because it's entertaining, not for anything else. And I add in hair flicks just to really get into character.
A lot of the time when I'm telling people stories they ask me 'why' and I always answer the same way, "Why not?" Someday, someone will have an answer for me, and provide a list of reasons why not, but even when that day comes, I don't think I'll change. Why not live for fun and adventure? Why not do the unexpected? Everyone says it, nobody does it. It may not be on a grand scale of going to exotic locations and doing things, but even in your day to day life you can spice things up. Actually sing that song out loud, not just in your head. I've done it, while walking around campus, I've heard people doing it.
How about getting out little brown paper bags and making puppets? Grab your supplies, pens, highlights, crayons, whatever and just have at it? The fun there is endless, even if you never actually play with the puppets, unless you're like me and take at lest an hour of staring into space just to come up with an idea or name that makes comprehensive sense and you're actually able to create.
Put on some music and dance with your broom while sweeping, or vacuum works too. Dance to the dishes, twirl with the laundry. There's so many things you can do in a day that are just random and brighten things up.
Or just stay in your normal routine and be normal. That always works too.
though I admit, I even sleep in random positions, just to see if i can...
Moral of the Ramblings?
