Grab It, Share It

With the start of college and life outside the confines of home, I can find myself longing for the world outside little Ohio where I've resided all my life. I live in the international dorms, surrounded daily by people from all over the world. I can't help but think of all the exotic and non exotic places there are, and everywhere that isn't here. 

There's Europe, with all its history. Buildings from time's I can only dream of. Places steeped in more history than I can imagine. 

There's Africa, the womb of mankind. The place where we all began, with animals of every kinds. 

There's Asia, the orient, the exotic and mysterious. 

New Zealand, beauty as far as the eye can see. 

Australia, and their freaky freaky earthworms. 

I don't really care for South America...stupid anacondas......the amazon has ruined the entire continent for me, while i understand its important to the survival of mankind..

The Gulf and Caribbean and its tropical delights.

And even North America and it's places of note. 

The places I've never seen and may never see. The places i will see and the places I don't want to see. The world is such a vast and amazing place with so much to offer. I can't help but dream of being a traveler, visiting it all and leaving the humdrum of Ohio. Though there's few places I'd rather return home to at the end of it all than Ohio. 

Where's Aladdin outside my window with that magic carpet when I need him? I want to go to a whole new world, shinning, shimmering, splendid. Every turn a surprise, with new horizons to pursue, every moment red letter (what does that even mean?? I seriously don't know.) 

I wanna ride on a boat, fly in a plane, take a motorcycle across the land. I want to sky dive, learn archery, hike mountains, crawl through caves. 

I wanna face my fears with snakes (not really, stupid snakes) I wanna see if I have a fear of heights then over come it.

I want so much and yet, for all the glorious places I could be, for all the sites i could see, that food i could eat and the animals i could pet, ride, feed, see, I find, what's the point without my best of friends to share it with? 

So alright guys, 2015. We're going. Start saving your money now. There's an entire world out there, and we need to share it, together.
